During our critical current activity I learned about how the LGBT community is voicing their thoughts and views on single stalled bathrooms and how males, females, and transgender individuals all should be able to use them since it's a single bathroom and their is no invasion of privacy. I also learned that a proposition has been made to raise the price on cigarettes by $2.00 to help stop the smoking crisis and in a way help people with smoking addictions have a bit more self control. One of the topics I found to be the most interesting was Elon Musk's idea/plan to colonize Mars once we had the means to transport humans to Mars. Not only did Elon Musk plan this but he also had the idea to make the human species a multi-planetary species which is crazy but incredible all at once. Overall this first Critical Current activity was really informative and fun.
